Linda Bastida –
Foundation Finance
Linda Bastida is originally from Pittsburgh, PA and has lived in Plano for over 30 years. Her early career days were spent as an IT professional at EDS, JC Penny and Accenture. Linda was taught the Medical Sciences by Ms. Julie Centeno as a part of her training, when she received her Medical Coding Certification in 2009. Linda then went on to work at Conifer Health Solutions. Linda is personally familiar with a family genetic mutation on chromosome 17 called Frontotemporal Dementia (FTD). She recently lost her husband to this disease. Linda has much empathy for our PTLS families and understands the challenges faced by caregivers and those with PTLS. Linda has two grown sons and enjoys cooking and getting together with friends. Her grand dog is a beautiful Australian Shepherd named Pau who was named after Pablo Casals, the famous cellist. Pau enjoys competing with his dad in agility competitions. Linda is proud to serve as Treasure of PTLS.
